This week, we will be learning about natural resources. These include the beautiful lanforms and all that was given to us by God. The photograph on the right comes from Glacier National Park in Montana. It is just one example of the beauty natural resources bring to our world. If we're not careful, we can harm the natural resources that God gave us. Remember the assembly we had a few weeks ago? This week's question is worth 2 extra credit points for your social studies grade.

My favorite natural resource is the Grand Canyon in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. However, I have never seen it. I also love all the mountains and volcanos. A way we can take care of these natural resources are by recycling to save trees, not polluting the environment with to much gasses from cars, and using less energy. You should also never litter.

My favorite Natural resouces are trees and water because trees give us air and water because it keeps us alive. One way we can save those natural resouces is by recycling paper and turning off sinks after you use them. We live on a lake and we recycle our lake water to use to water the plants in our garden.

One of my favorite natural resources is the ocean because the ocean produces some of the food we eat like salmon,calamari(also known as squid.)and lots of other things. What I would do to save all of our natural resources is try to not use a car alot because it is ruining our natural resources like air. It is also taking up space for natural land like plains are turning into houses,condos and hotels but it is also good that more and more people are having ahome to live in. That is what I think.

My favorite natural resource is the Redwood forest. The trees are HUGE! The trees can take a thousand years to grow! We can help save these natural resources by not wasting paper and by recycling. We dont want to pollute the air or water.BY MatthewC.
Some of my favorite natural resources are Sydney Harbour (That's the correct Australian spelling!) and the Great Barrier Reef. Ones that are nearer to my home are Snow Lake on Mt. Rainier and the Inland Passage in British Columbia. I also love the Hawaiian Islands. We are going to spend the holidays on Maui and Lanai and will go snorkeling in the clear, blue waters. All these special places or landmarks are very pretty and beautiful. I think that most people try to respect them, keep them safe and not pollute them.
We can take care of our natural resources by not polluting and being very careful not to harm the natural environment at all. We should do this so that all the animals that live there are healthy and have shelter and food. Otherwise, a lot more animals will become endangered or extinct. It is important to take care of the air and water and the plant life too. Otherwise, our world may have an even more serious global warming problem. It is our responsibilty to take care of our planet for the next generation. Also, we should try to use less energy and gas to save our resources. It would help if people would start to use more carpools, trains and buses. Recycling is very important too.

One of my favorite natural resources are Seaside,Oregon. Another one I like is my garden. Some ways we can save these natural resources are using recycling more than using garbage cans and using compost.

I like all natural resources, especially trees. They are one of the things that keep us alive. They put a roof over our head and make sheter for us. I like water too. It's another thing that keeps us alive. We can protect them by driving less or making more fuel effecient cars, taking short showers, turning lights off, and turning off your tv when you are done with it.

Some of my favorite natural resouces are: flowers, trees, all of the landforms like the hills, mountains, plateaus, plains and all bodies of water like rivers, oceans, lakes and waterfalls! I also love animals like house pets, butterflies, dragonflies, birds, fishes, carabaos, cows, chickens and dolphins. I've been to Mount Saint Helen's this summer. This National Park is so beautiful because of natural resources. The volcano is so lovely! Natural resources make the world gorgeous and provide our needs like: food, water, air and shelter so we should take care of them. Ways to take care of our natural resources are: to take shorter baths, save paper by using both sides of the paper and planting trees. Another way to protect natural resources is to maintain cleanliness in the surroundings. We should throw away our trash in the trash can. We should not waste electricity by not watching too much T.V. or using the computer so long. To save gas we should not go to places that are not impotant. If it's very important we can carpool or ride the bus. To take care of animals, we can protect their habitats by not cutting too many trees and not polluting bodies of water and the air. I wish we will help each other to be more GREEN!!!!!

The water of the Puget Sound is my favorite natural resource. I love salmon fishing and without clean water the fish can not survive. We can keep our waters clean by not polluting. I also like Mount Rainier because it's fun to hike and to see it everyday.

My favorite natural resources are trees,hills, most of all the mountains.I can take care of trees by making sure they have enough water and light. My favorite Natural Resource is Mount Everst but I never saw it. I also like valcanos and other stuff that helps us live. A way we can take care of these Natural Resources are by recycling, not polluting and using less enery and never ever litter.
My favorite resource is Mount Rainier. I think one way to keep Mount Rainier unharmed is to stop littering or else the plants and animals will die. All of the birds will get sick and die too. One of my favorite natural resources is electricity. Electricity is made by fans on the way to Oaksdale where my cousins live. Another of my favorite natural resources is trees because they give you oxygen like we are breathing now. People should use electric cars so they don't put exhaust into the air. I hope my first car is an electric Lamborghini.

My favorite natural resource is Mt.Ranier National Park. I go there alot.Once I saw people stepping on the medows and in the animal's habitats. So I think we should tell people to stop when they step on the medows. We also should never litter on the mountain.

My favorite natural resources are the ocean and trees. I went to the ocean last summer and stayed by the beach for a week. We collected shells and looked for agates. Agates are pieces of big rocks chipped off by the ocean. There a lots of different colors and they can be polished. I also like trees. They help us by making oxygen.
To protect the ocean, we don't throw garbage in there and always recycle. To protect trees, we shouldn't over cut them.

We are lucky to have all the rivers, trees and mountains in Washington. If we do not protect these things that god gave us we will lose all of it soon,
One of my favorite is the ocean. I like it because of the fish especially the whales. I really do not like when people kill the wales.
