On Friday, we'll celebrate Granparent's Day. Grandparents are an important part of any family. For this week's blog, write about your grandparents. Think of the W's like:

My grandparents are special to me because they have a train set in their basement and it's really cool. They give me lots of love when I visit them. They live in Chicago,Illinois. I like to go to the beach with them. My grandpa that lives with us is special too. The most special thing about all of them is that they love me.

My Grandparents passed away already, but I want to write about my time with them when they were alive. My Lolo (In Tagalog, Lolo means Grandpa and Lola means Grandma) Tom is my Mom's Dad. He lived in Alilem, Philippines. I visited him three times when I was little. I remember sharing stories about my school to him. We had many pictures together. He is so special to me because he listened to my stories.
My Lola Ciencia is my Dad's Mom. She also lived in Alilem, Philippines. I also visited her when I was little. She is special to me because she made me two beautiful dresses. One is a yellow dress with a green tie in the back. The other dress is a white, summer dress with polka dots.
My parents' Aunts and Uncle are the only living Grandparents I have. They are Lola Aling, Lola Nieves and Lolo Art. They all live in the Philippines. They're kind and fun to be with. They cooked for me Filipino food like "bibingka" (sweet rice cake). I'm looking forward to see them again when we go on vacation to the Philippines.

I have five wonderful grandparents, but I am going to talk about my Australian grandparents. I call them Didi and Poppa. They live in Sydney, Australia. I like to go to Balmoral Beach with them and have fish and chips for dinner. It is also great fun to go on the passenger ferries or go fishing on Sydney Harbour with Poppa. I see them once or twice a year. When I do, it is very special! I think they are fun and have loving and kind hearts.
I also think there should be a Great Grandparents Day! My mom's grandparents, Doe and Jed, are still alive and live in Queensland. Well, they're still grandparents, but they're also great grandparents. Shouldn't we honor them, too?:)

My grandparents are special to me because they take me to the Nisqually and play WII games with me. Both my sets of grandparents live kinda far away past Tacoma. My mom's parents names are Tony and Linday. My dad's parents names are Roger and Kathy. I get to see them quite often and are all very special to me. Colten

My granparents are special to me because they like to see me and my brother in the morning. They take me and my brother to school on Monday,Tuesday,and Wednesday. That is fun for me and my brother.At birthday. My grandparents are the awesomest people in the whole world!(or eleast my world.) They live in Arizona and it's always fun to vist them.
I like to go to the pool with my grandpa in the galf cart. Four people in a galf cart that only fits two, not comfortable! I like to cook with my grandma, her,Sara and me make th best smoothies ever!
I usally only see them about once a year, but this year I get to see them during May!
All together I have a marvelous time with them!
Now let's talk about my mom's side. They live in Hawaii.It is so fun spending time with them.I get to cook jelo mochy with my popo(grandma) and a hole bunch of other good food like duck. I like it when gugung(grandpa)and I just sit and talk even over the phone.It is great when we sit and enjoy the wonderful dinner my popo put together.
I love all my grandparents. They care about Sara and me and we care about them. My grandparents mean the world to me even if none of them are coming to Grandparents Day, they stil will mean the world to me!!!

My grandparents are Al and Norma they both live in Normandy park.We like to go on vacations together.I normally see them on Monday,Wednesday,and Friday.Their special to me because they care about me and I love them to.
Who are my Grandparents, well their just my Grandparents.My 1st Grandma lives in Seattle,my second grandma is nanna!She lives in Oregon.What I like to do with nanna is to do crafts.With my other Grandma I help her with the garden and pick raspberries.I don't really see my nanna I only see her 2 or three times a year.My grandma I see a lot.What makes them feel special to me is when they give me kisses and hugs.
I have some more grandmas but I am typing a story on the computer right now.

My grandparents are special to me because when they come over they give me candy and the ones I like. Sometimes when they stay at our house for a week they make my food then my little sister gets hiper and jumps everywhere. She somtimes yells in my ears and jumps on the table then she dances like crazy. I don't know whats wron with her Phanuel

My Grandma is so special to me. We call her Grandma Apple Pie because she makes the best pie crusts I have ever tasted. Every time I go to the store she gets macaroni and cheese for Nils and me. She makes smokies(little hot dogs) for me. I love my grandma.

PS Grandma Apple Pie lives half way in between my Aunt Teri's house and mine. I like to do wonderword(in the newspaper)with her. We call it"the puzzle." She is so nice.

(I am going to write about my grandma because my grandpa is gone and my other grandparents are not coming)My grandma's name is really Annamarie.She lives in Burien.I usually see her on weekends.I have a lot of nice things to say about my grandma but I'll cut it short becuase I'd miss school.My grandma has a lot of good qualities like She shares,she makes us a great dinners,she asks nicely,and she plays with us,etc.Thats my grandma.LOVE ADAM#2.

My grandparents are Papa Jerry and Nana Arlene. I also have my other grandma Nanny (April). My grandpa has a train set in his garage just like Roberts grandparents have. Not only does my grandpa have a train set in his garage he also has a fish pond in his back yard. He also owns Glendale Heating which should be called Arts Furnace and Fuel. Oh and everything makes him special to me. I usually see my grandparents every Monday and Friday and I see nanny on Sundays when she comes to my soccer games. All my grandparents live in Seattle. I also have my great grandma GG (GG stands great grandma , I like to go places with her. Nanny works for a Highline School Distict just like my mom. Nana is nice because she babysits my sister on Mondays and Fridays and always comes to Deep Lake with us on opening day. That is why my grandparents are special to me.

My grandparents are Lou and Diane.
They live in Seward Park. I love to play slap jack with my grandpa and love to go shopping with my grandma. I usually see them at special events. They are special to me because they love me.
