Thanksgiving is only a few days away. It's a great time to get together with family and friends to share in a feast and enjoy one another. It's also a time to think about all our many blessings. This week's question is this:
What are some things you're thankful for? Why?

I'm thankful for my parents and relatives because they love me and take care of me. They comfort me when I'm sad. If I'm sick they give me medicine so I'll get well fast. I'm also thankful for my friends and classmates because they share their time to play with me. I'm also thankful for my very special dogs, (Dinah and Darnah my loving stuffed animals)because they cheer me up. I'm blessed to have my pet cat Pusa. She meets me at the door when I arrive home from school. It's also a blessing to be a student of St. Francis of Assisi School. I'm thankful for my school because I get educated there and helps me go to college. I'm also very thankful to Ms. Gessner, my third grade teacher and all the other teachers and employees of St. Francis because they help me with my school work. I learn a lot from the different subjects.I'm happy and thankful for my awards too like being a Student of the Month and Outstanding Youth Nomination at Seattle Tang Soo Do Karate. I'm also thankful for getting good grades and receiving the Principal's Award in the first grade. These make me feel appreciated for my hard work. Good health is also a blessing to me. I'm thankful for good health because I can go to school everyday. I really want to thank God for all these blessings!

I am thankful for shelter because if I did not have shelter I would have to live on the street.I am also thankful for my life because if I did not have a life I would not be here right now.Iam also thankful for Jesus because if he was not alive none of us would be here right now.I am also thankful for food because if we did not have food we would starve.I am also thankful for my family because they take good care of me and they are careing and sweet and kind.I am also thakful for my friends because they are kind and they care about me.I am also thankful for my teacher because she helps me learn math and adding and subtracting.

I am thankful for many things. I am thankful for my wonderful family. My family always cares for me no matter what. They are always kind to me and will only discipline me if I need it. We love each other and have such a good time together. If I am sad about something, they will try to cheer me up. I am very thankful for all my friends that understand me and are great companions. Each one of them is different and very kind to me. My toys are very special to me. Some people don't have as many as I do which is a great reason to be thankful for them. My fish Jelly-belly is a lovely responsibility and blessing. I love my school, St. Francis of Assisi. I am thankful for Ms. Gessner and all the other excellent teachers that I have had. School is a very important place in my life because I get my education there. Teachers are very important in our lives because they challenge you and help you learn special things. My many gifts from God are very lovely and I hope that I am using them well. My awards mean a lot to me. I am thankful for the sports I do and everybody that organizes them. I am very thankful for my body. I am very healthy because of it. I am sorry for those that don't have as many opportunities as I do. As I grow up it is my job to help them.
